Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I was lucky enough to have my nominated charity, Tayside SANDS, chosen by the Dundee Pension Centre staff this year and will be holding a charity dress down day on 18th October to raise funds. Alongside the charity day Paul, Doug, Livia and Ian very kindly agreed to enter the Tour de Tay Cycle Challenge. This is a 50 mile round trip from Newport and takes place on Saturday, 29th September. Myself, my husband and my son will also be completing the Tayside SANDS Annual 5K Walk at Camperdown Park on Sunday, 30th September. We would greatly appreciate any sponsorship to help keep our spirits up along the way. Please feel free to come along and cheer on your cycling friends/colleagues or join us for a little stroll. If you would prefer to donate via our sponsorship forms, please come and see any of us in work.

Tayside SANDS is a charity very close to both mine and Doug's hearts and I personally don't know how I would have coped without their support during two devastating periods in my life. 2018 marks 40 years since SANDS was founded by two bereaved mothers, who found there was no support available for them following the deaths of their babies. We will be completing these events in memory of our baby boys taken too soon, Kyle Curran, Kieran Curran, Daniel Cameron-Malloch and all the other angels born too beautiful for this earth. Please help us to make this an awesome fundraising year to both celebrate the fantastic work and support that SANDS has provided over the last 40 years and help them to continue that support in the future.
