Story
Normally I'm singing in living rooms, kitchen's and gardens around the UK to raise money for Alzheimer's Research UK and I'm still doing that! But I'm also I'm walking (and possibly singing)100 Kilometres (62 miles) in one go - in under 30 hours - possibly walking through the night as part of the Thames Path Challenge.
I'm walking with my pals David and Izzy - we're the Shedcaster team - David is, of course, the talent behind the History of England podcast (www.thehistoryofengland.co.uk) and we'll be shed, pod and walkcasting over the next couple of weeks.
So this really quite a daft thing to but please support us and of course if you would like a Seven Songs please get in touch. You've heard me often talking about when you get to a certain age you become more aware of the distressing effect dementia has on families and friends – the illness not only brings a terrible lingering decline, it has a relentless and devastating impact on carers too.
For the Thames Path Challenge, I don't have my guitar and collecting bucket so I really really need your help.
