Crossing the Humber for Jacob · 19 May 2018

We support treatment, research and care to make our hospitals even better

Story

On Saturday 19th May I will be crossing over the Humber Bridge (& back) on foot. My friends know I have a fear of both bridges and water so it's quite an ordeal for me but it's nothing compared to what my Godson Mark & his lovely wife Ness are dealing with. Their gorgeous 18 month old son Jacob is bravely battling cancer (rhabdomyosarcoma) after a short illness and in support of him and his parents I am collecting sponsorship for the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital where he is undergoing chemotherapy & Ronald MacDonald House who are brilliantly helping this lovely young family who mean the world to me.

All donations are very much appreciated and will go towards helping the families of other poorly children.
