Story
Thank you so much for visiting Karen and Chrissy's fundraising page.
We have decided to take part in Missing People's Cycle Challenge to raise awareness and funds for this unique and passionate charity that we both work for. We know first hand about the work the services team do to provide support, help and advice to missing adults and children, and the familes they leave behind.
We have both been lucky enough to never have someone we care about go missing, but the reality is that 250,000 people are reported missing every year, and we know the heart ache and confusion each one of those families go through when they are searching for their missing loved one.
Hopefully we won't ever need Missing People, but we want to make sure they are here for those who do. 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
The challenge itself covers 400 miles in 5 days.
Day 1 - Edinburgh to Newcastle - 110 miles
Day 2 - Newcastle to York - 90 miles
Day 3 - York to Nottingham - 70 miles
Day 4 - Nottingham to Milton Keynes - 65 miles
Day 5 - Milton Keynes to Richmond, London - 65 miles
Please show your support by donating generously.
Your donation will help Missing People to provide a lifeline when someone disappears. 116 000 is the number for advice, support, help and options if you, or someone you care about goes missing.
"Thank you from the bottom of my heart for finding my nephew and giving him back the life he always should have had."
By donating and supporting us you are directly helping Missing People to reunite families.
Thank you so much.
Please visit the Missing People website for more information about the services we provide and other ways to support the charity.
