Story
On Friday 20th September, a team from Cullinan Studio is walking 15 miles around London to raise money for Maggie's cancer caring centres.
Maggie's centres are for anyone affected by cancer. They are named after Maggie Keswick Jencks who had a vision to create a network of imaginatively designed drop-in care centres after she was diagnosed with cancer. They are created in line with Maggie's belief in the power of buildings to inspire people and provide a positive environment for care and support.
We are especially proud to be taking part in the 2013 Maggie's Culture Crawl, as in May this year we completed a Maggie's Centre for Newcastle.
A recent visitor to the Centre commented: "being in the Centre quite simply fills me full of joy. It's inspiring to see so many people coming in to find the support they need...the Centre has a wonderful atmosphere and having a Maggie's in Newcastle has just been such a positive experience for me."
