Story

I am joining the Robin Hood Way Walk to raise money for Life Cycle 6 (early detection of breast cancer) in memory of Annie and Janet.

Today nearly 80% of women diagnosed with breast cancer survive at least 10 years but there are still many lives to be saved.   Professor Robertson’s team at the University of Nottingham, is carrying out ground-breaking research to develop a blood test to detect breast cancer early. The test aims to detect breast cancer when it is too small to feel or to see on a mammogram, and when it can still be cured.
