Story
On Friday 17th May I will be joining a group of colleagues to cycle from the British Embassy in Paris to the FCO in London. And, before you ask, yes, I will be doing this on the little bike pictured here!
I loved cycling as a child and at University and a few years back started cycle and train commuting to work. As a youngster, I used to cycle round our local area - The Dengie Hundred - with my parents giving me a huge amount of freedom at an early age, which sadly today I have more difficulty imagining allowing my own kids. However, we now cycle as a family and have been on cycle touring holidays in France, pedalling with all our camping gear. Cycling is good for you, good for the environment, a cheap way to have an adventure and above all FUN. Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. Cycling was a big part of my childhood and I love the idea that this event will help raise funds for children today.
