Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On the 13th September Team Hesketh will set off on an arduous 148 mile bike ride to Abersoch. The A Team is captained by Craig (Easy Rider) Daniels. The B Team is captained by Grant Arterton (who is doubtful with a bad toe!)

The A Team hopes to complete the journey, in two days. They are Craig, Mark Butt (Butty) to his few lady friends, Peter Adair, Dave (Diddy) McCormick on a tricycle, Chris & Max Syddall, Phil and Joe Welsh, Marcus Wilby, James Golden, Brian Hay, Peter Fawcett, James (Pretty Boy) Almond, Gary Smith, Paul Patterson, Dave Barton, Sean Fitzpatrick, Mark Monaghan and (I am just doing the first day because I believe there are some big hills on the second) Ken Simms.

The crack platoon B Team; John Briggs, Josh Briggs, Stan Upton & Nick Muir on a tandem, plus Grant maybe!! will leave a day early in a more sedate 3 day mission.

Team Hesketh will have their trusted mechanic and first aider Ian (Bungle) Wilkinson and his brother following in the support vans, very kindly donated by Movers Transport (Manchester’s premier removal company).

A big thank you to Bet Fred for kindly sponsoring the teams and generously supplying our shirts.

Can we also thank the Almond family for all their support giving free refreshments and great food at the Hesketh Tavern Cheadle Hulme.
