UPDATE:
We did it... don’t have an official time but we set off at 12:00 and the next time I looked at a watch (post collecting stash and a pint) it was 3:45!! So somewhere in that time scale, were all absolutely shattered with bruises, burns and blisters to prove we were there!! It’s fair to say were all massively proud of each other and over the fricking moon that we did it.. In true cowfolk style we started together and finished together!
Thank you all so much for all your support, every donation has been hugely appreciated and every penny goes to the teenage cancer trust, a great cause... THANKS again, what an amazing effort all round!
PS It's still not to late to donate ;)
...............
Thanks for taking the time to visit our page.
The Cowfolk are doing Tough Mudder A group of hardy (ish) cows will be taking on a 12 mile grueling obstacle course to raise money for The Teenage Cancer trust. we will be taking on 28 obstacles designed to push us to our limits!!! (and then some) Mud, electric shocks (ARGGHH), fire, (ARRRGGGHHHHHH) confined spaces, greased up monkey bars and way way more! http://toughmudder.co.uk/about/
We are raising money for the Teenage Cancer Trust - In Memory of Saffy, a cause close to our hearts because of the support they provided.
Every pound helps, so thank you in advance for anything you can afford.
Who Are The Easton Cowboys & Cowgirls?
The Easton Cowboys and Girls began with the formation of a football team in 1992. Fortunately we had bigger ideas than most Sunday league teams and have not only expanded our number of sports, players, supporters and friends, but have organised many social events, tournaments and trips abroad. The Cowboys and Girls have become not only a large sporting organisation, but also a social club of more than 150 based in Easton, with tentacles that have spread throughout the world.
All those involved in the Cowboys and Girls have a voice – whether they play a sport or not. We value the opinions of all our players, supporters, friends and lovers. This is why there is no fixed membership of the organisation. We value our social lives as being as, or even more important than our sporting activities. We try and create an atmosphere that does not exclude anybody by race, sex, sexuality, age or culture. Ideas and commitment are the lifeblood of our community. We think big and act on it.
