WE DID IT!  Lorna an incredible 2.09 and me slower at 2.18.... Thank you to everyone who supported us - what a difference it makes, especially in those pesky 9-11 miles!  A great day, fab weather (if hot at 19 degrees!), fantastic atmosphere and most of all the ability to raise money for very worthy causes in Cancer Research and Dreamflight.  THANK YOU.

 

Too many of us have direct experience of the impact of cancer on our family and friends so I'm running this year, in memory of my Dad, to raise funds for Cancer Research.  In addition, Afiniti has agreed to match every £ raised and donate to Dreamflight - a children's charity we support, which takes children on a holiday of a lifetime to Florida - on their dream flight.

Both are great charities where all contributions go directly to making a real difference.
