Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. In 2011, I will be running the London marathon for the 3rd time. This time, simply running itself will be a huge achievement. In January 2010 I was diagnosed with a large hole in my heart (ASD). I had open heart surgery in June 2010 and was back running after 8 weeks. I am so grateful from the support of GUCH (Grown Up Congenital Heart Patients Association) via forums and individuals who gave me advice along the way. With such a life altering experience, I wanted to give something back to the GUCH cause.
Over the next 2 years, I plan to continue fundraising for GUCH. I am running several races, taking part in triathlons and have the ultimate goal of completing an 'Ironman'!! Follow my journey from heart surgery to Ironman at www.corinneellison.com
