Story

Hey Y’all

On the 6 October Snow White (Alex) and his 7 dwarfs will be taking part in the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge.. here is some info on the Hike..

The three peaks of the Yorkshire Three Peaks are arranged in a triangle, with the River Ribble and two minor B roads between them. The total walking distance is 39.2km (24.5 miles).

Alex, Adrian, Darren, Magda, Pam, Rhys, Seamus and Roshni will all be aiming to do this walk together in less than 10 Hours! Why? You ask...Because together we want to raise money for Demelza.

The Yorkshire Three Peaks includes, usually in this order, Pen-y-Ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough, before returning to Horton in Ribblesdale.

Demelza is a charity providing hospice care for almost 800 children with life-limiting illnesses and their families across Kent, East Sussex and South East London. Roshni went to see what it is they do and how well they do it and She can honestly say it was an eye opener and it makes you appreciate life more.
