Story
In April of this year two of my best friends suddenly lost their daughter Phoebe. She was an adorable little girl who was nearing her second birthday. Myself , my wife and girls have tried to some small way to be there for a family who should never have to go through this grief. As parents yourselves you can imagine how awful this was and still is. In my little old way I wanted to do something for Phoebe, so decided at the ancient age of 55 to run The Great South Run. These ten miles on the 28th October will test my old bones. Money raised will be for Phoebe's charity, and donations can either be through the school sponsor form in the office, or by donating by website to www.justgiving.com/Colin-Harris1. If you watch either live in Southsea or on TV I will be the one in pink struggling to keep up with everyone with a pained expression on my face.
I will finish though without doubt for Phoebe, and her lovely parents Giles, Raine and son Harvey.
Many thanks
Giles
