We did it! It was windy, cold but surprisingly and mercifully dry. If you want to see all of our photos they are here http://www.flickr.com/photos/codecomputerlove/ There were nearly 100 sleepers in all in Manchester, although not a lot of sleep was had. Just one night out, well prepared, in sleeping bags and survival sacks really brought home what an ordeal sleeping rough is. Earlier in the evening we met volunteers who had managed to get off the streets and were now helping Action for Children to deliver the vital support to help others to turn their lives around thanks to your donations.
In addition to this page the individual fund raising pages of the 14 of us that slept out have raised a further £2400 which puts Codes total at around £5500
