The challenge is to walk 100km across the South Downs Way in under 30 hours in a team of four

Apart from supporting the Ghurkha's and their families, a really great charity who have supported the British Army for many Decades, this will be the second time in consecutive years that Team Stanley have taken on this challenge.

The reason for this madness again, is that last year we started as a team of four but James & I finished as a team of two. Mark had a family of blisters destroy his feet by check point 4 and Jason after torrential rain at 2.00am slipped which caused ligament damage at CP 6 but his grit and determination got him to CP8 before he had to stop. That's him in the wheelchair afterwards feeling a little sorry. Why are you laughing? :)

So, to those of you who generously supported me last year for Trailwalker2017, thank you, I'm hoping your kindness will extend to digging into your pockets again this year and everyone else I know for 'Team Stanley 2018' and not forgetting this great cause.
