Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page - I'm running as part of Team Bea to raise as much money as possible for Tommy's Charity.

Baby Beatrice was the daughter of some good friends, but she died just a few hours after she was born, after an uncomplicated pregnancy and labour last summer. Bea’s parents Georgia and Dom are determined to commemorate her life, and so I am running alongside them and lots of family and friends to support her memory.

Up to 1 in 4 women lose a baby during pregnancy, labour, or the neonatal period and in many cases no cause is found. Tommy's charity funds research into maternal and neonatal health and prematurity, and provides specialist antenatal clinics to try to prevent other families experiencing what Georgia and Dom have.

I'm really grateful for whatever you can donate to support Team Bea in this inaugural London Landmarks Half Marathon, and to try to get me under the 2 hour threshold which I limped across in my first and only other half marathon attempt.
