This year, for the very first time, I am running the Great North Run! I am putting myself through this (along with a big bunch of equally srupid/brave/caring individuals) to raise money for the Great North Air Ambulance. This charity has been chosen as it is a charity close to our school's hearts. In 2009, we lost one of our most lovely, intelligent, caring and beautiful students in a tragic accident. The Great North Air Ambulance was there that day to try to rescue Vicki and her Dad. 

Then this summer, we lost another beautiful, friendly and determined young lady in another accident. Rachel was hoping to run the Great Norh Run for the Air Ambulance this year but unfortunately never got the chance.

We are aiming to raise a huge amount of money to support this amazing charity and make those girls proud. Any money you can spare would make a huge difference and I would be so grateful. 

At the age of 16, 17, 18 I was a selfish little madame who was only worried about myself. These 2 girls had the world at their feet yet were constantly doing things for others. Well now it is my turn to give something back to them. Please sponsor me if you can, and if you can't, please feel free to come and support us on the day. I guarantee it will be emotional!
