Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I'm not much of a Sports Person, but I do enjoy writing, so I am trying to complete a 50 day travel blog for Diabetes UK. You can find the full version on http://cruisingclaire.blogspot.com/ Days 1 to 3 were about the 2010 Weekend Crows Nest Cruise and a freezing cold excursion to Zeebrugge. Days 4 to 20 in October 2011 took place on the Atlantic coast of Spain to Venice, Corfu, Croatia and Gibraltar. Days 21 to 50 will start in April 2012 as we fly to Singapore and travel to Alaska via Thailand, Hongkong, Vietnam, China, Japan, South Korea, and Russia, finally finishing in Vancouver before flying home. If you enjoy reading my blog then please consider making a small donation to Diabetes UK. If I can persuade 200 people to donate £5 or more, I will reach my £1000 target.

We now have an official blog mascot called Sir Francis. He first sailed in to Cadiz over 400 years ago. Watch out for his appearances on the blog.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
