We help the hospital offer a better future to seriously ill children across the UK

Story

I spend a lot of my time sailing on the River Thames, trying to keep out of the way of rowing boats.   In need of a challenge and wanting to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital, I've decided to change boats and row in the Great River Race.

I have to admit, I thought the race was about 10 miles when I signed up and I've never rowed for more than 15 minutes.  So 21 miles rowing along the River Thames is going to be a bigger challenge than I planned!  I'm hoping by setting up my fundraising page, it will motivate me to get on the rowing machine and start practicing.....I've only been on it once so far.....

Great Ormond Street Hospital is an amazing charity that does great work helping children and their families during tough times.  So I would love it you were able to sponsor me, however much you can afford.

I'm sure I'll have some good blisters to show for my hard work!

Thanks in advance for your sponsorship,

Claire
