Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
After sadly loosing my husband and father to my two little girls last year to Upper GI Cancer at the young age of 44 I want to give something back to Velindre ATTAC Appeal for the care and medical treatment they gave to my husband during this difficult time. I will be taking part in a 25 mile virtual bike ride @ the DWP in Bridgend on the 22nd June @ 10 am, then Cardiff Half the beginning of October then Snowdon Full Marathon the end of October (that's not say I wont find something else to enter too) all for this amazing appeal.
Over 20,000 people a year are diagnosed with Upper GI Cancer, 1300 of which are from Wales. Unfortunately, the outcome is not good with a 1-5 years survival rate as diagnosis is usually too late due to no symptoms.
