Story

Hi there, thanks for visiting my just giving page for 'the Kiltwalk 2012'.

For those who don't know my son Jordan, was diagnosed with leukaemia at 10weeks old. Jordan attended Yorkhill Hospital, Glasgow, where he received months of chemotherapy and two transplants in his short life. In January 2011 we were told Jordan's leukaemia had returned, his body couldn't take another transplant or anymore chemotherapy, we were told he only had months left, then in August we were told he had only two weeks left...he lasted just over two weeks and sadly fell asleep on Saturday 3rd September 2011.

Being part of the hospital network for just over six years our family benefited from charities such as Clic Sargent, Make A Wish Foundation, React, Macmillan and many more. We all want to do this walk to give a little something back on behlf of Jordan.
