Completing a Winston Churchill Travelling Fellowship in the US, looking at ways we can improve and implement Creative activities for individuals with Dementia, really broadened my outlook! The Arts can empower, raise confidene and self-esteem, lower depressive tendencies and promote a new way of communicating with loved ones. But without funds, this is impossible to do...they need us...

1 in 3 people have Dementia, with it set to increase in the next decade! This older generation taught us and have the most fascinating stories to tell us, we should be listening, responding and improving their quality of life in return.

Every year i take part in a charity event for Alzheimer's Society as i know how important this money is. BUT/ this year i have decided to really push myself and will be jumping out of a plane and running half a marathon! In the hope to raise EVEN more money for this generation!!
