Story
THANK YOU SO MUCH for all of your support. The event was an amazing success - very challenging, but brilliant.
If you would like to read all about it, I have written a blog on Road Cycling UK at:

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I am back once again, asking you to dig deep into your pockets in aid of another crazy cycle ride which I am doing this summer. This year the Guide Dogs Le Tour Challenge will be taking on the French Pyreness. It's going to be painful!
Over 6 days, I'll be cycling the equivalent of three Tour de France stages, covering roughly 600kms entirely in the mountains. There'll be a serious amount of climbing - 12 mountain passes including Col du Soulor, Col d'Aubisque, Col de Peyresourde, and the gigantic Col Du Tourmalet, which is a beast of a climb at nearly 20 miles!
I have an ambitious fundraising target this year, but your money will really help the Guide Dogs for the Blind Association provide life changing help for blind and partially-sighted people. It costs £35k to breed, train and keep a guide dog, which sounds a lot, but is a small price to pay for the independence and freedom that a dog provides, not to mention the companionship.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
The challenge begins on 21 August, although I'll be out on the roads of Sussex for most of the summer, trying to get my legs ready! So please, please dig deep and donate now to this very worthwhile cause.
Thank you.
Chris
