We increase the pool of stem cell donors to give patients a second chance of life

Story

When I joined GoCardless on my London adventure, I met a like-minded adventurer, AG (don't call him Andrew). AG's thirst for adventure has led him around the world and back, by plane, train and bicycle.

AG has a special kind of kindness. He shows a keen interest in the lives of others, and he wants nothing more than to impart knowledge on those around him.

Adventurer. Teacher. Cyclist. None of these words highlight AG's most special trait. He's a fighter to his core. 6 years ago, AG was told he had a 5% chance to live. Well, that was enough for AG. As I said, he's not a normal man.

When he cancer returned, last December, he stood up again to fight.

So when we decided to climb the Three Peaks to support AG & a charity of his choice, I knew I had to take part. Because there are far harder things to fight through in life than a little bit of exhaustion, some sleep deprivation, and 10,052ft of elevation.

Please donate to DKMS, AG's charity of choice, to give other fighters the chance to beat their illness.

P.S. This is my only chance to beat him up the mountain. He's far fitter than me, so this is the time to donate!
