<p>Hello!! Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.</p> <p>I am running the Seville Marathon on 19th February and I need your help to raise some money for Cancer Research UK. It will be my first marathon!</p> <p>Cancer Research UK is the world's leading charity dedicated to saving lives through research. They have saved millions of lives by discovering new ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer.</p> <p>Recently, I have noticed that a marathon is a really long way. A lot longer than I intially thought. On the basis of how painful some of my training runs have been, I can guarantee you the marathon will be very painful indeed. So please help me make sure the pain and exhaustion is all worthwhile by donating to this fantastic charity.</p> <p>I shouldn't rub it in to those of you in the UK, but the weather is already really quite hot and sunny here in Seville and I will not only fry like bacon on the race course, but the heat exhaustion will most likely make the marathon even harder than it should be. Eek!</p> <p>It would really mean a lot and will help me out on the day when I inevitably hit "the wall" around 23 miles and wonder why on earth I am running this thing. Please give whatever you can. I really do appreciate it.
