Story
After running the Alloa Half Marathon on Sunday 16th March (and a visit to the Kirky Puffer) I had a rush of blood to the head and entered the Loch Katrine Marathon. Unfortunately for me, that's tomorrow, Sunday 23rd March!
Not to let an opportunity go to waste and as i'll do doing other events etc this year I thought i'd exploit the opportunity to start fundraising towards TCTs appeal to build a unit at the new Southern General Hospital, due to open in 2015.
Having first hand experience I can assure you that these units make a world of difference to the patients and their families. The unit at Yorkhill is a invaluable facility and it's a shame that it will be closing along with the rest of the hospital. Let's ensure that the new unit at the Southern is a worthy replacement.
The Loch Katrine Marathon is the start of my fundraising efforts, keep checking back for updates on what's next.
