Hi everyone,

As many of you know, I am an avid runner and have applied to the London Marathon for the past 10 years. Having completed the Brighton Marathon (me and my mate Emma in the photo) in 2016 and ready to take on a new challenge, a once in a life time opportunity presented itself at work - friends and colleagues from Rainham School for Girls to run the London Marathon together, as a team, in 2017.

A group of 11 (including myself) stepped up to the challenge and are fortunate enough to be running for three amazing charities: NSPCC, The Shaw Trust and Demelza House. 

So far, we have hosted a number of successful fundraising events and with the support from friends, family, colleagues and students of RSG, we will continue to work towards our collective target of £23,000...........and hopefully smash it!
