Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Imagine being told the devastating news your child has Leukaemia. I can't imagine it.
I have decided to join Yaser Martini on the Bridge Walk this year to raise funds for Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children because his daughter Margot was diagnosed with an extremely rare form of Leukaemia last October. Margot is only 22 months old and she has been cared for at Great Ormond Street Hospital -- or GOSH as it is known for the past 9 months. The other month Margot received a Bone Marrow Transplant and she is doing as well as can be expected.
My family and I have been following Margot's story after watching the Martini's very moving appeal on YouTube. The Martini's and their team of family and friends have been working so hard to recruit new stem cell donors, raise money for Delete Blood Cancer and Great Ormond Street whilst caring for Margot in hospital and their two young boys at home.
We are so lucky in this country to have one of the best children's hospitals in the world and I would really appreciate it if you could show your support by helping me raise £1000 for Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital.
Thank you very much and please watch Margot's appeal video below. It's very moving.
