Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
With a select group of family I walked up (and down) Snowdon- one of Britain's highest mountains on 30/05/2010. It started as a personal challenge, as part of my plan to get a bit fitter, but I decided that it would be even better to raise some cash for a charity I have supported for many years. The walk was complicated by having to park about 1.5 miles from the start of the path and by foolishly taking a wrong turning and ending up on a very frightening bit of the mountain, making a backtrack necessary as I'm not up to sheer cliff faces and scree slopes.
My achievement would be much more impressive if a four year old great nephew hadn't raced me to the top (and had to wait for me to join him). Photographic proof of the progress to the top by Hannah and myself is attached.
There's still time to donate!
