Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On Saturday 12th May 2012 I am taking part in the Carten 100. A 100 mile bike ride from Cardiff to Tenby.
The chosen charity this year is JDRF, the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Type 1 diabetes affects 350,000 people in the UK - over 25,000 of them are children. Incidence of type 1 is increasing by four per cent each year, particularly in children under five. It is not know why this trend is occuring. JDRF exists to find the cure for type 1 diabetes and its complications, and is the world's leading charitable funder of type 1 diabetes research.
