We provide support, services and advice to help autistic people and their families

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page, and a huge thank you to all who have very kindly and generously sponsored me for previous challenges I have undertaken to raise funds in aid of people and families affected by autism, including my double challenge of the Great North Run 2012 and Kilimanjaro 2013 for the Daisy Chain project.

This year I am back in training for the Great North Run, this time to raise funds for the National Autistic Society's Newcastle-Gateshead branch. Like the other NAS branches throughout the country, the Newcastle-Gateshead branch, helps many people and families affected by autism by providing resources that many mainstream services can't provide, as well as social/support groups for young people and adults on the autistic spectrum, and also for their parents/carers.

I have chosen this charity as they share my vision to enable young people and adults on the autistic spectrum to lead dignified and fulfilling lives by engaging with the people that they support. Any donations will make a huge difference to many.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

With Very Best Wishes,
