Charity Walk ??...
I know it sounds easy doesn't it?
But when your mildly addicted to alcohol, chocolate, coffee, 3am parties, pick n' mix, pork pies and lengthy lie-ins it is a bit of a challenge.
Still sound easy ?
What if I told you it was 62 miles (100 km for you metric folk) which we will be doing in 24 hours, hopefully, non-stop.
I'll be doing this walk with colleagues from Syscap raising funds for Dimbleby Cancer Care. A charity doing some great things for Kelly the partner of my Syscap colleague and fellow walker Roger.
So please dig deep and give generously to this great cause.
Dimbleby Cancer Care was established in 1966 in response to the untimely death of broadcaster Richard Dimbleby from testicular cancer. The purpose of the charity is to support the care need of people living with cancer, their families and carers. They do this by offering psychological support services such as counselling and group therapy, offering information and advice around living with cancer including welfare and benefits advice and complementary therapies such as massage, reiki healing and aromatherapy.
Thanks for your support.
