It was at Christmas when I heard of Wave 105 Cash for Kids collecting for local children who wouldn't be getting anything - that included a Christmas meal, something we all take for granted. Digging deeper, I found the charity did a huge amount more for underprivileged children.

So it was time to do something....4 days riding over 300 miles seemed the least I could do especially if I could raise some money at the same time! Lots of training ahead and 4 days out of the 'comfort zone' but that seems insignficant compared to what some children go through on a daily basis.

The charity raises money for local children who are financially, socially, emotionally or physically disadvantaged so its a great cause. They help those who have a much harder life than us.
