I am taking part in The Big Walk 2019, a walking challenge on Friday 28th of June. I will be aiming to walk 23 miles through the Peak District, starting at Bamford, taking me through Ladybower, Bradfield, Crosspool, and back to the University.   

I thought this would be a really good opportunity to challenge myself, as well as raising funds for student scholarships.

We are fundraising for student scholarships to give as many students as possible the opportunity to study at the University of Sheffield. Scholarships are extremely important in giving students from disadvantaged backgrounds the opportunity to study at University. Without scholarships, students from lower-income backgrounds often have to turn to loans to cover their costs, leading to debts of £50,000 or more. I will be trying to raise as much as I can for this cause, to give as many students as possible the chance to study at the University.
