Thank you for taking the time to visit my just giving page! The fact that you are here is a great start and I hope I can convince you that I am cycling for a cause that will really appreciate every penny I can raise!

My journey will begin on 23 July 2012 from London, England and finish 5000km and 2 months later in Istanbul, Turkey on 17 September. The aim is to cycle around 100km a day and for those of you who observe my gym routine (which has been non-existent for the last term!) I hope you understand what a challenge this will be and one which is deserving of your support! 

I have chosen to cycle for the Cancer Care and Haematology Trust, a facility based at Stoke Mandeville Hospital. They offer treatment to cancer patients of all ages and the service they provide means that many patients can continue to live at home, allowing their families to live around them offering continous support. As many people, myself included, have been affected by cancer I think this service is invaluable which is why I am proud to ask for donations on their behalf.

As a small charity, any donation will make a huge difference in allowing them to continue their great work, so please support me in my attempt to make it to Istanbul!
