Those who know me well will know the reasons behind me wanting to raise as much as possible for this fantastic hospice. They have been such a fantastic support to my family during a very difficult time and to visit them and see their work is truly inspiring. Claire House needs 2.5 MILLION a year to continue to give the service they provide now. The vast majority of that money comes from charitable donations and it is vital that money keeps coming. 

Most people, thankfully, have no reason to think of such places and it is only when we need their help that we realise how important they are. But please take a minute to think of families of children with life limiting or life threatening illness' that rely on such places and dig as deep as possible to show your support. If all my friends donated the price of a pint (and my friends all love thier pints!!) I could double my target easily.

So, now to tell you what I am doing. From Saturday 3rd December for ONE WHOLE WEEK, I will be dressing as a pirate. This may sound easy but I have to go to work, shop, bank and even attend my Sons school nativity dressed in my finest pirate gear. Surely this deserves a few peices of eight?!
