I am running in memory of Beatrice Emilia Bunning. The beautiful daughter of my great friends Georgia and Dom. After a dream pregnancy and labour, Bea was born on 8th May 2017 without a heartbeat, and despite putting up an incredible fight, she didn't make it through the night. Her parents, Georgia and Dom, are keeping Bea's memory alive with their inspirational dedication to raising money for Tommy's. Like many others I have decided to join their mission and support Bea's legacy. 

Tommy's fund vital research into miscarriages, still births and premature death to save babies lives. Sadly, one in four women go through a pregnancy loss, and in the majority of cases the cause is unknown. With enough research, Tommy's hope to stop so many families going through the same suffering.

This is my second half marathon, the first was a downright disaster. This time, for Team Bea, I'm aiming not to stop or send out SOS messages. Which means no phone and no snacks.
