My Mum was diagnosed with Lewy Body Dementia 18 months ago. Sufferers can have frequent and lasting delusions, as well as memory  and mobility problems. Lewy Bodies is the second most common dementia, and is very difficult to diagnose. I would like to help raise awareness of this cruel disease.

I started running in 2007 with 10K races, then moved to fell running. Now I usually do longer distance fell races, 57 miles being my longest. I  have never run a road marathon, and expect this to be my last! Hopefully the Florence scenery will take my mind off it :)
