Catherine's Wobbleberry Challenge

Wobbleberry Challenge · 22 September 2016
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I lost my brother to cancer in 2013 and I have helped my best friend through the trauma of breast cancer. Hannah through social media became an inspiration to so many and I feel that I would like to assist in helping her achieve her goal of raising funds for research into osteosarcoma and to grant equine related wishes to seriously ill people and their families.
I have committed to competing in a BE80 this May on my lovely 17hh chestnut mare Nellie. She is 10yrs old and willing but suffers from several niggling problems so I shall have to be gentle with her. Those that know me know that I am over weight and unfit and much happier on the ground grooming for my kids than actually in the saddle competing. Dressage should be fine but the last time I show jumped I ended up face planting in the dirt (3yrs ago), it took me ages to recover physically but I still haven't got over the anxiety of jumping a show jump since. It may seem weird but I can still jump a small XC jump.
My challenge is nothing compared to the challenges faced by Hannah and other young people with life threatening conditions. If we can help in any small way to help them fulfill their equine dreams and have some escape from the endless hospital appointments and therapies, then it has got to be worth the effort I put in and the donations, however small, that you make.
So please dig deep and donate.
