Story
Hello,
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On 15th August 2010 my Aunty died very suddenly from Lupus and Hughes Syndrome, she was only 36 years old and we were incredibly close. From 27th September 2010 until 30th June 2011 I will be attempting to live off just £10 a week. I will try my very best, but please remember that the more money I raise, the more motivation it will give me and the more it will help the charities! I will also be blogging about my progress so everyone can see exactly how I am managing it; http://10poundpom.blogspot.com/
Please sponsor me and donate to help all people with Hughes Syndrome, so that no other family has to go through losing a loved one to this disease. Any amount will help, small or large! You can hear the radio interview with Nakita's sister (my other Aunty) here; http://splashfm.com/splashstory.asp?id=2689
'Hughes Syndrome is an autoimmune disorder which can present many clinical features, some of which can be life threatening, including strokes and thrombosis, and it can also be the cause of recurrent miscarriage' It is also known as 'sticky blood'.
Please take the time to sponsor me, because these charities deserve so much! I will be very grateful for any donations, big or small - every little helps, and you can donate on this site by clicking the 'donate' button. It doesn't matter where you are in the world, you can donate as long as you have a credit or debit card, or paypal. And please remember that if you are a UK tax payer you can gift aid it for free.
Thank you :)
