Sadly, within 2 years I have lost my Dad and my Uncle (twin brothers) to cancer.

I am raising money for Cancer Research so that in time, less people can be taken from this cruel disease. 

Firstly, as part of the Bishop Fleming centenary fund-raising I will be taking part in the Three Peaks challenge. I am not walking or climbing, but I am going to be responsible for transporting a group of walkers from peak to peak (Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike, Snowdonia) so they can complete their challenge within 24 hours.  Without minibus drivers, the challenge would be a non- starter. I will be driving a 15-seater mini bus through windy roads at very early hours in the morning, and by the time we get to the third peak (Snowdonia) there will be lots of sore smelly feet on-board!

My second event, is the Race for Life 5k Pretty Muddy on 20th July. This year my 13-year old daughter will be joining me to show that we are putting up a fight against cancer.

I'd be grateful for any donations big or small, so cancer research can find a way to stop cancer taking more people too early.
