On September 14th, together with a number of other people, we are taking part in Tough Mudder North West.

Tough Mudder is an endurance event series in which participants attempt 12 mile long military style obstacle courses.  Designed and created by British Special Forces to test mental as well as physical strength, obstacles often play on common human fears, such as fire, water, electricity and heights.

We are raising money for British Friends of Israeli War Disabled.

We often do not hear about the brave IDF soldiers who survived but suffered severe permanent physical disability.

British Friends of Israel War Disabled (BFIWD) is a non-political organization, established in 1974, dedicated to helping disabled Israeli soldiers rebuild their lives. Tragically, Israel has over 50,000 registered war disabled - Jewish, Muslim & Druze.  Each year BFIWD brings groups of injured soldiers to comunities in the UK as a vital part of their rehabilitation.  The trip changes their lives, giving them hope for the future.
