Story
Denise Kendrick and a group of others are walking the 105 miles of the Robin Hood Way over 7 days to raise money for research to develop a blood test to detect breast cancer whilst it is still curable. This ground breaking research is being carried out at the University of Nottingham and the test aims to detect breast cancer when it is too small to feel or to see on a mammogram, and when it can still be cured.
I am walking one day (14 miles) with Denise and the team and am looking for sponsors to support this important cause and prevent more women from having to have surgery, radiotherapy, chemotherapy and years of hormone and other treatments.
Thank you for your support - together we can detect breast cancer earlier.
