UPDATE:
Due to a bout of pneumonia that knocked me for six in February/March, I have had to postpone my attempt until September 9th 2013. My lung capacity still isn't fully restored and training has been difficult.
If you wish me to refund your sponsorship, please let me know.

In 2010 ago a small group of the Domino bloggers took on the challenge of a 26 mile off road hike to raise money for the East African Famine and thanks to your generosity we raised over £3,000! This year we have a bigger group, a bigger challenge,a bigger target of £4000.00 and a super Scottish Charity to support!
One of the worst things that can happen to anyone is to be told that one of your children has an incurable, life shortening disease and when that happens access to a good hospice service becomes invaluable. As we are walking in Scotland we are collecting for a local charity that supports children and their families when a terminal disease is diagnosed. This charity is The Children's Hospice Association of Scotland (you can find out about them more below). I am sure you will agree that caring for a terminally ill child and their extended family is very important work, so please please please give generously by clicking on any of the "donate" buttons on pages on this site and sponsor the team to we walk the 80 miles from the west side of Scotland to the east:-)
Please explore this site as you can find out more about us and the charity by visiting the other pages on this site and keep up to date with the "goings on" by having a look at the "Blog Posts" section
Thanks - The Domino Dander 4 Dosh Team
PS - For those of you unfamiliar with "Dandering", it is the Irish word for that describes walking and chatting and having a marvelous time doing it ;) and "Dosh" is slang for cash
PPS If we hit the target fund raising amount, I have ageed to do the hike in a Kilt and Pith hemet.
