Story
Myself, Shaun and Finn are going to play 24 hours straight. We are teeing off at 6:00pm Friday 5th August and plan to start our final round at 2:00pm on Saturday 6th August, completing the challenge at approx. 6:00pm. Followed by a party in the Club house in Richmond. We will be joined by a few friends on the way to. Through the night we are going to be using LED Golf balls together with head torches and handheld torches.
We are doing this for our amazing Cienna-Rose. When Cienna was born she was 3 weeks premature and needed a bit of help, we spent 5 weeks in the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) where we found out Cienna had a laryngeal cleft this meant because of the cleft they wanted to do her hearing screening sooner which she failed both times, she was then referred to audiology to do a more advanced hearing test which took multiple appointments even late night appointments to make sure it was completely accurate, with this we found she has severe to profound hearing loss, Cienna suffers with bad glue ear as well, at the minute she wears hearing aids and we are awaiting for her to have grommets and also a cochlear implant as that is the only way Cienna will get her near full hearing back. Any donation big or small would mean the world to us. All proceeds will be going to the National Deaf Children’s Society.
Anyone who would like to join us for a round feel free to book a tee time online at Richmond Golf Club between 1:00pm-1:50pm
We are also looking for any companies to sponsor a hole (£50) or to donate raffle prizes. All sponsors will get mentions in advertising and media posts.
