NEWS UPDATE! Unfortunately Sammi has had to have an operation on her shoulder and will not be fit to ride in time. However, we have another rider keen to take up the reins! Welcome to the Posse, KATE HASTINGS! We are all looking forward to our ride in a few weeks' time and are all working hard to raise sponsorship for Cancer Research UK. Breast cancer survivor, Wendy , is celebrating her return to good health and (semi) fitness by undertaking a riding adventure to raise money for Cancer Research UK. Riding with Wendy will be her Breast Surgeon and good friend, Tena Walters, Chemotherapy Sister and partner in wine, Sammi Williams; both of whom work at The Blackheath Hospital in London, and Patsy McAllister (Aunt and Guru) and last but not least, Bridget Johnson, Wendy's long-suffering Mum. This "adventure" was conceived during steroid-induced moments of hypermanic activity and will be a great way to raise funds for a worthwhile charity.

We have self-funded the trip and all donations will go straight to Cancer Research UK.

We are embarking on a gruelling six day trek through the high Alpujarras in Granada, Spain. No doubt we will be blown away by the awesome beauty of alpine forests and blossom-scented citrus groves. We will be refreshed by the mountain breezes and exhilarated by long canters and gallops along dry river beds. We shall also enjoy lavish picnics and copious amounts of local wines. The hard part is spending six hours a day in the saddle, covering approximately thirty miles a day! Please make this torturous ordeal worthwhile and sponsor us generously!
