Hi everyone!

This year I will be running my 5th Berlin Marathon!

I will be fundraising for Unite Against Cancer (SC043017) once again because the charity is something that I'm hugely passionate about and take great pride in the work that we do.........helping educate the cancer scientists of the future!

Our charity raises money to fund new cancer treatments and to educate and inform on cancer prevention. 

According to recent statistics, 1 in 2 people will get cancer at some stage in their life.....a terrifying statistic. For this reason it's more important that ever to help raise money to fund research that will lead to a cure for this god awful disease!

Unite Against Cancer is proud to support the education of future cancer scientists by providing the Christopher Douglas Smith Scholarship in Cancer Sciences at the University of Glasgow. This Scholarship provides one student each year with a platform to further their knowledge and experience in cancer sciences and to be able to work with some of the world's best researchers and laboratory equipment.
