Knowing what an amazing job the CL team are doing, seeing first hand where the money raised is going and seeing the passion they all possess to do the best they can for this fantastic cause, made it hard to say no to committing myself to the Birmingham half marathon.

I am not a runner by any means and I’m finding training tough but I’ve been truly inspired by the team behind CL and the patients and people benefitting from the work Cure Leukaemia strives to achieve every day. Thank you to my Birmingham Deutsche Bank colleagues for convincing me to do this - I would never have committed of my own accord. 

Any help I can to reach my target would be truly appreciated, but if you can’t donate then please see what CL is all about below as awareness is just as important!

Cure Leukaemia helps blood cancer patients to access pioneering drug and transplant treatments by funding a network of specialist research nurses across the UK. Without these nurses, to ensure patients are monitored and cared for, clinical trials of these new treatments would not run and patients, that have exhausted standard treatment options, would miss out on potentially lifesaving therapies. Every penny raised for Cure Leukaemia helps save lives and also hastens global progress towards the eradication of all forms of blood cancer.
