Greetings to All!

My goal is to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro for the cause of children's education and the environment. Through much deliberation I realized that the best organization that I could donate to is one that helps causes world wide, and one that I have been a member of for years. The World WildLife Fund works towards educating, and helping wildlife that is in danger.

Currently living in the Cayman Islands there is an endangered species, the Blue Iguana. I will hopefully be able to raise enough money, so that the awareness can help the species world wide, for their population to recover. I am a believer that if people are able to be educated more about how the environment can help them, the world will be a better place. Raising awareness about our wildlife world will also help prevent things such as hunger, poverty, and fear.

The second part of my cause is for children in Kenya where my current housemate Ann Javen is from. Ann will also be climbing the mountain, and is heavily involved in this cause for her country and the country she is currently living in. By donating to this cause children in Kenya will be raised being educated about the world surrounding them. They will have more understanding on how to live longer, surviving for our future. Many of the children we will be donating to are not only in need of education materials, but also medical operations due to abuse incidences such as rape, domestic abuse, and malnutrition. We only have been given one earth. If our future generations do not have the knowlege it takes to preserve, then we won't have the hope the world has for us to live without fear in good health.
