After learning that my friend Neil's daughter Samantha Hughes was fighting a rare childhood cancer called Neuroblastoma, I wanted to help in anyway that I possibly could. Last Year brave Samantha inspired me to run the London Marathon in 3 hours and 38 minutes and raise over £1,000 for Georgies fund.
I am hoping, with your help to beat improve on my finishing time and raise even more money for such a fantastic cause.
Samantha is a beautiful girl and never stops smiling, no matter what life throws at her and is truly an inspiration to us all. As a close friend of the family I would like to join them in raising the profile of this nasty disease which affects under 100 children in the UK each year.
I will be running the London Marathon for Samantha and all funds will go to their friends at Georgie's Fund who work so hard in helping fund research into a cure and find new treatments for Neuroblastoma and also help other families who are affected by this nasty disease.
Another way to help is to wear a Georgie's Fund Fighting Neuroblastoma Wristband and send a picture to them which they will post on the website. This way we can see how far around the world we have raised awareness of Neuroblastoma.
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor me online.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Georgie's Fund will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
